High Demand for Zain Ramadan content Services

Zain's Ramadan content services, launched during the holy month, are in high demand amongst its customers who are enjoying exclusivity in its provision. The services offered by the company are tailored for the Holy month and include educational, religious and entertainment content reflecting the spirit of Ramadan.
Among the new services are the Ramadan related Ring Back Tones (RBT) known as Zain Samma3ni, Ramadan Islamic content, Ramadan Fun services and Ramadan downloads.  To access the Zain Samma3ni service, customers can dial 090022222 or visit jo.zain.com. For the Ramadan Islamic content that includes Sheikh Afasi, Amr Khaled, and Doa, among others, customers can subscribe to these services via SMS and MMS by dialing (*111#) and accessing the Ramadan menu.

 By dialing the same number, customers can also access the Ramadan Fun services and choose from its Ramadaneyyat menu. The Fun service includes Abu Mahjoub cartoons, Abu Mahjoub sarcastic messages (Hala 3ammi), recipe of the day, and Raji Dowwara episodes, among others.
Zain customers can also enjoy ring tones, logos, backgrounds and Ramadan animations by visiting http://wap/ from their Wap enabled handset. The Wap service can be activated by sending the word "Wap" to the number 95000.

Zain's Senior Data Manager Ziad Al Masri said: “The new service made available to customers through SMS and MMS is a result of a strategy put forward by the company to engage with customers and share their joys and celebrations, especially during the holy month.” He added that the importance of this service, available only to Zain subscribers, is based on the popularity of the content and ring tone services provided that carry the spirit of Ramadan, in addition to the role of mobile technology as a means of quick communication, available for all.

Al Masri added that Zain had previously launched similar services for its subscribers, allowing them to listen to pre-release content, such as Nakshet Mukh episodes and Fann FM Bloopers that were never exposed to the media before.

To date, the company has launched various services including SMS and MMS info, RBT, Video Streaming and Downloads, Blog, Mazad, Mymail, 1234 online and online games. Accordingly, Zain customers enjoy a wealth of data services that serve to reinforce its leading position in Jordan's mobile market.
