with a special Carnival,Orange Jordan welcomes Springtime

In a bid to embody the French-Jordanian cooperation, and for the second year, Orange Jordan is sponsoring the 2nd street Carnival organized by the French Cultural Center celebrating the coming spring season.

The first carnival festivities took off last Saturday to wander the streets of Amman starting from  Paris Square at Jabal Al-Weibdeh, one of the most ancient and dynamic districts in Amman .
The carnival parade featured young children with colorful and painted faces dressed up in decorated costumes, dancing to the beat of drums and music throughout Al -Weibdeh Street reaching the Terra Santa schoolyard, where ''Mr. Carnival'' was brought to trial and was burnt announcing the end of the cold winter season and welcoming the warm springtime.

Children, women, men, young and old had a great time and enjoyed special snacks and meals offered during the carnival celebrations.

On his part, Eng.Yousef Maddi, Jordan Telecom Group Foundation Manager, expressed his delight at Orange Jordan sponsorship which comes for the second year saying '' This artistic cultural carnival is an opportunity to express the joy of spring arrival with the participation of old and young celebrating springtime in a non -traditional way in line with the ancient rituals of the eastern countries to mark the change of seasons.''

Orange's continuous interest in sponsoring such activities comes as a result of its concern in strengthening the bilateral cooperation between Jordan and France and its keen on enhancing their economic cultural and investment relations.
