through 3 summer courses,Jawwal concludes its training to the Engineering Students

The field training held for the students of the Palestinian universities was concluded last week through 3 summer courses.118 students from Birzeit, AL Najah , Palestine Polytechnic, Alquds, Palestine Technical universities, in addition to other international and Arab universities were trained. Each course was a 60 training hour for 10 consecutive days covering important Engineering subjects such as; GSM theory, Frequency planning, transmission links planning and connectivity, Network optimization and tuning, BSS introduction, OSS introduction, Online and SMS Services, IVR/Call Center System, Data applications & voice services in GSM. Courses also included a number of field visits to Jawwal’s stations and main switch so as to get introduced to the used equipments and work environment of the company.
              
Mr. Fahed Lubbadeh working in the Human Resources Directorate at Jawwal- said,” We at Palestine Cellular Communications Co, Ltd,. Jawwal, seek always to stay the pioneer company to support and develop the students whom we consider the builders of our society. Therefore, during the previous years, we gathered students of different Palestinian, Arab and foreign universities to train intensively through a whole year training programs which covered different fields, such as; engineering and commerce, concentrating on the practical side which we believe that it has a positive effect on the students, university and the society in general. What we do is a part of our social responsibility towards youth who are the large percentage of the Palestinian society. We also make sure to select professional trainers each year to join Jawwal’s team”.

Eng. Akram Barkeh working at the engineering department, pointed that Jawwal is being unique in offering all updated services of the latest technologies, meeting all career, social and educational aspects. He added that Jawwal also ensures to bring qualified staff to help train the universities’ students in order to facilitate their integration in the future work environment. It also seeks to have a continuous communication with the national universities and the various foreign universities, exchanging experiences among the students and Jawwal’s staff.
 
 
Jawwal’s company considers the field training as one of the students’ rights, it offers them the opportunity for practical training and hence support the theoretical terms adopted in the universities. It also supports the universities’ students in their seminars related to telecommunications and GSM technology.
 
Dr. Raed Amro the head of the Electrical and Computer engineering department at Palestine Polytechnic University expressed his gratitude to “Jawwal” for their interest and continuous support toward the Palestinian academic institutions, hoping to keep up this cooperation. Mr. Amro also thanked the engineer Alaa’ Jalal Tamimi who is responsible for the field training in the electrical and Computer engineering directorate at Jawwal, for the good reception and training the students, supporting their academic life in the university. On the other hand, the participated students were satisfied to receive such supervision and training provided by the engineering and administration staff at Jawwal.
