Zain SA Staff Support Charities in Poverty Day

"Zain Saudi Arabia" announced its staff participation in World Poverty Day, Oct 17th, in a new initiative confirming the company keenness to stand by all the community individuals and supporting them in all occasions and conditions.

The participation of "Zain Saudi Arabia" staff in all branches, comes in the form of providing quantities of materials in kind to a number of charities that will distribute them.

"Zain Saudi Arabia" has reminded its staff with the occasion of the world day for fighting poverty, urging them to interact with the charities all over the Kingdom, remember their needy brothers, and backing them in a way that relieves their sufferings and keep their dignity.

"This step comes in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud- may Allah protect him- who considers poverty reduction a priority, and fulfilled in this regard great achievements, which pushes "World Food Program" to grant him the International Certificate of "Poverty Reduction Champion", Eng. Ismail Fikree, Operations Executive Director in "Zain Saudi Arabia" stated.

He added, "the great attention paid by "Zain Saudi Arabia" to "Social Responsibility" principle adopted by the company since its establishment, has led to numerous agreements and partnerships as well as the lunch of various initiatives all of which focus on serving the society in all its classes and sectors, which contributes to poverty reduction through different innovative ways.
Fikree emphasized "Urging "Zain Saudi Arabia" staff to support charities comes to open the way for them to perform their duties towards the society in which they live, and to inculcate the principle of "social responsibility" in their souls.

"World consensus on reducing poverty on that day to remind all communities with their duty towards the poor and needy, obliges the private sector as a whole to support bodies responsible for looking after such class which is in dear need for backing and help, stressing that such support come within the commitment to the Islamic principles which calls for helping the poor and needy, and supporting them materially and spiritually." added Eng. Ismail Fikree, Operations Executive Director in "Zain Saudi Arabia".
