Zain in Saudi Arabia conducted a study on the number of tourists visiting the Kingdom each year. The study’s findings have prompted the company to launch Visitors’ Line, a competitively-priced, pre-paid mobile communication package for tourists – pilgrims, vacationers and elderly visitors and the like – who want to stay in touch with friends and loved ones at home.
Visitors’ Line’s unique selling point is a 25% discount for a given international number chosen by the customer who simply has to send an SMS to 712712. This number can be changed at any time and the Visitors’ Line is valid for 120 days.
”Since its launch, the Company has made a priority of servicing the large number of visitors that the Kingdom receives annually,” said Ismail Fikri, operational CEO of Zain Saudi Arabia. “This has been achieved, even though the company has only been on the local market for ten months. Visitors’ Line is yet another example of Zain delivering on its brand promise of ‘A wonderful world’ placing the needs of its customers first.”
Fikri added that Visitors’ Line also falls within Zain’s commitment to support the efforts exerted by the public and private sectors in the Kingdom to serve Hajj pilgrims.
Zain reiterates that the Visitors’ Line validity is 120 days and customers can choose their preferred international line by sending an SMS to 712712.
