Zain Saudi Arabia recently revealed that it has added more than 10 new main cities and several main highways and subsidiary roads in various parts of the Kingdom to its special network, increasing its advanced network’s coverage to more than 65% of the Kingdom’s populated areas. The remaining areas of the Kingdom are covered by the local mobile service.
Zain Saudi Arabia added to its special network the cities of Ha’el, Tabouk, O’neizah, Sakaka, A’ra’r, Khamis Mshit, Ahad Rafida, Najran, Jizan and AlHiweh. Last year, with the launch of Zain Saudi Arabia, more than 43 of the Kingdom’s cities were covered. Today, its special network exceeds the coverage of 53 cities in less than 8 months from entering the Saudi market.
In addition, the internal roads connecting the Kingdom’s cities and listed within Zain Saudi Arabia’s special network exceeded 16 main and subsidiary roads, namely the roads between AlRiyahd-AlDamman , Madina Munawwara-Mecca AlMukarrameh, Jeddah-Mecca AlMukarrameh, AlRiyahd-AlQassim, AlQassim-AlMadina, AlDammam-AlJubail, AlDamman-AlHufouf, AlRiyahd-AlTaif-Mecca AlMukarrameh, AlHufouf-Salwa, Baqiq-AlRiyahd-AlDammam, AlRiyahd-AlKhurj-Wadi AlDawaser-Khamis Mshit-Abha, Madina AlMunawwara-Yunbue’,AlRiyahd-AlHufouf, Tabuk-Halet O’mar, Baqiq-AlMubbaraz and Khreis-AlHufouf.
Engineer Ismail Fikri, operational CEO at Zain Saudi Arabia, emphasized that the company strives to achieve coverage of all the Kingdom’s cities where people fully depend on its special network, and the services of the local mobile company end. He further indicated that this step embodies Zain Saudi Arabia’s focus to enhance its network and provide its services in all the Kingdom’s areas at a time when the company is racing to roll out its network expansion earlier than the deadline. This will guarantee full control of the performance and timeliness of the services provided to the clients.
Fikri further said that the company fully depends on its special network in delivering its services and added: “We resolved with determination to shorten delivery schedules and we shall reach 85% coverage in the Kingdom’s inhabited areas by the end of the year which will allow us to provide the highest quality and performance in delivering our services to all our clients in the Kingdom.”
Zain Saudi Arabia has penetrated the Kingdom’s market with unprecedented success in all aspects especially its area of coverage, which reached more than 95% of the Kingdom’s inhabited cities since the first days of launching its service during late August of last year.
