Dr. Boni Yayi, President of Benin Visits Etisalat

His Excellency Dr. Boni Yayi, President of Benin and a delegation of government ministers today met with Mohammad Hassan Omran, Chairman of Etisalat at Etisalat’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

This meeting marked the start of a two-day visit by the Benin government to the UAE during which time they will meet industry leaders and members of the UAE Government.

Etisalat operates a mobile phone service in Benin under the brand ‘Moov’ which has so far acquired over 322,000 subscribers. Moov is managed by Atlantique Telecom, in which Etisalat owns a 70% stake.

Etisalat’s chairman highlighted Etisalat’s commitment to Benin and demonstrated the latest technologies it is introducing across the region.
