Qtel launches of the BlackBerry Internet Service (Personal Edition) for Qatar

Qtel today officially announced the launch of the BlackBerry Internet Service (Personal Edition) for Qatar.

The BlackBerry Internet Service enables small businesses and individual mobile phone customers in Qatar to enjoy the benefits of the BlackBerry wireless solution, which offers access to a broad range of services, including wireless email, instant messaging, internet, MMS and SMS and other mobile applications.

Blackberry services have become an important tool for local and global businesses, and with today’s launch of the new Personal Edition, Qtel is looking to double the number of subscribers within Qatar.

With push email technology, the customer is always connected and emails are received instantly and automatically through a state-of-the-art BlackBerry handset and integral software.
