Qtel launched their free “Call Me Back” service today, which allows Hala prepaid customers to send a “Call Me Back” text, regardless of their calling credit.
The service is free and simple to use. It applies to all Hala customers, regardless of their balance or account status, even within the grace period. It can be initiated from anywhere in Qatar and up to three requests per day can be sent from any Hala account.
Qtel Chief Operating Officer, Sheikh Fahad Bin Jassim Al-Thani said: “Qtel is deeply committed to ensuring that our customers are able to maintain communication, regardless of the funds available. The introduction of ‘Call Me Back’ has again demonstrated that Qtel is listening to our customers, and delivering telecommunications services and solutions that meet the needs of all those who live or work in Qatar.”
To use the service, Qtel callers should dial *103*, followed by the mobile number of the person that they would like to contact e.g. *103*1234567#. Qtel will then send an SMS asking “Please call me back” in English and Arabic to that number free of charge.
