Mozaic mobile service – CNN World News Now

Qtel announces today an exciting new development pertaining to the Mozaic mobile service – CNN World News Now. Starting today, Qtel Mozaic Mob customers can view video headlines from CNN. The video headlines from CNN will cover global news events and will be updated every hour. The headlines are on average 1.5 minutes in length.

We recently extended this service by offering customers free access to local & international news on our Mozaic portal and we are delighted today to include CNN global news to customers with 3G mobiles. Seeing the news on your mobile has more of an impact.”

How to use the service

Customers with 3G phones can simply request the service by browsing Mobile TV /CNN section of the Mozaic Mob portal at wap.mozaic.qa Each News video clip costs 2 QR and there is no monthly subscription fee.

This service is only available to customers with 3G phones configured for the Mozaic mobile portal. Customers can request the required setting by simply sending an SMS to 2072 with ‘all’ and save the sent configurations upon receipt. Customers can then access the Mozaic portal by clicking on the Web / Internet / Services icon on their handset (titles varies in different handsets), then click either on the ‘Home’ link or the ‘Mozaic MOB link in ‘Bookmarks’.
