Zain, a member of the leading mobile telecommunications provider in the Middle East and Africa; Zain Group, signs an agreement with ITS Group. The signing of the agreement comes as part of the company's move towards global expansion, and aims at offeringcustomers a unified service experience across the Zain Group operations through the adoption of a common system that serves the entire Group.
The agreement includes the deployment of ITS' billing and customer service application (TABS Suite) at Zain in Jordan's offices. Said system is considered the key solution for telecom service providers that helps improve documentation and customer relationship management of individual and corporate clients alike.
Zain's CEO, Saad Nasir, said that the company is committed to provide its customers with the highest levels of service and to facilitate all aspects of daily servicing of its clients. "With the fast pace of today's life, the company always seeks to provide improved services to its clients through adopting advanced, flexible systems to ensure clients are served in a timely and efficient manner" he said.
Nasir added that implementing the new ITS’ billing and customer service system will support the realization of the Group's expansion goals part of which is providing customers with a unified service experience across the Group's companies. The new system will unify and streamline all customer related transactions and communications, whether upon visiting one of the company's showrooms or contacting the Company's customer care center.
Nasir further noted that Zain is considered a leading telecommunications service provider in the region in terms of offering its clients access to e-services through the company's website. Services that can be conveniently accessed through the web include new line activation, online payment, online top up, as well as detailed billing information for post paid service subscribers. This service is used by tens of thousands of customers every month, a service which Zain seeks to encourage more customers to use for their convenience.
On his part, ITS General Manager, Khaled Faraj Al-Saeed, said that ITS is proud of its partnership with Zain and of the Group's selection of ITS TABS Suite systems, which is the product of company's extensive work for over twenty years with a wide client base of telecom companies who testify to the quality of ITS services.
He further added that "our collaboration with Zain Group represents an exemplary strategic partnership as we always strive to provide our partners with the most advanced technologies and ITS solutions wherever they expand, to enable them to maintain a leading position amidst today's fierce competition in telecommunications sector".
Al-Saeed added that "ITS solutions offer the highest levels of precision, confidentiality and security of information; attributes that are of utmost importance to any company, like Zain, serving more than 2 million customers".
ITS Jordan Country Manager, Mr. Abdullah Qutaishat, said that the award of such a project by the country's leading mobile telecommunications operator (Zain) to ITS, represents a significant addition to the company's portfolio of many successes in the region and furthers its standing in Jordan and its plans to transfer the latest information technology services into the Jordanian market.
Qutaishat further elaborated, with the support of His Majesty King Abdullah II and in realization of His Majesty's vision for Jordan's Communications and Information Technology (ICT) sector, the recent years witnessed the launch of several initiatives that led to the establishment of an enabling information technology infrastructure and the incorporation of ICT into the every-day life of citizens. Such initiatives were launched to capitalize on the booming IT industry and on Jordan's qualified human resources and IT expertise.
It is worthy to note that ITS solutions entered into many world markets including the Middle East, Africa and East Asia, and has tapped into Europe through establishing partnerships with over 23 telecom companies. Furthermore, the company's solutions achieved top-level rating on the international CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) rating system, certifying to the quality of its solutions.
Recently, the company has approved its Jordan office as a center for implementing major projects, due to the wide pool of expertise and qualified skills of Jordan's IT workforce.
