Under the patronage of his Royal Highness Prince Ra'ad bin Zeid, Orange Jordan employees has participated in the 16th Dead Sea Ultra Marathon, which was organized by the Society for Care of Neurological Patients (SCNP), for which generated proceeds went to the SCNP’s patients.
Orange employees’ participation besides 4500 other participants from foreign and Arab countries in the ultramarathon, the marathon and the half-marathon activities, come as recognition of the SCNP’s efforts in drawing a smile on the patients’ faces.
Jordan Telecom Group CEO Mr. Mickael Ghossein emphasized that Orange employees are aware of their social responsibility towards the local community. The Group goes beyond providing telecom services to support humanitarian and social programs and activities, in a way that strengthens its belief in the active partnership role with community segments, which also contributes in achieving sustainable development in all different humanitarian fields.
He also added that the immediate response of Orange employees for participating in this huge athletic event that recognizes Jordan globally, shows their awareness towards their national duty, as well as strengthens their relation with the local community by knowing its needs.
At the end of the marathon which started from Amman International Motor Show Exhibition – 7th circle and ended at Amman Tourist Beach, his Royal Highness Prince Ra'ad bin Zeid rewarded the winners, and also honored Orange employees for their participation.
