Orange Jordan, the sole integrated telecom operator in the Kingdom, organized a trip to the media to Sharm Al Sheikh in appreciation of their continuous efforts to develop and raise the position of the ICT sector in the Kingdom and the region as a whole.
“We organized this trip to meet with media representatives as this stems from our keenness to strengthen our ties with them and highlight the team spirit that brings us together,” said Mrs. Majd Shweikeh, CEO of Orange Mobile. “Ever since the establishment of the company we have had a unique relationship with the media, as their efforts and constant support have had a huge impact on enhancing Jordan Telecom Group’s history which is filled with success and prosperity,” Shweikeh added.
“We at Orange are fully aware of the significant role the media plays to raise the level of awareness on the telecom sector and the efforts the different media channels exert to communicate the truth to the Jordanian citizen with total transparency,” Mr. Raslan Deiranieh, Chief Financial Officer of the Group said. He went on saying that this trip was a platform to meet the media outside the scope of work, pointing out that Orange have coordinated well for this trip to ensure that everyone passes a good time.
The trip, which lasted for four days, gathered a number of economic editors, specialized media in addition to Orange Jordan’s employees and executives who all enjoyed various recreational activities and visited major tourist landmarks in Sharm Al Sheikh.
