Wataniya Telecom Wins the Superbrands Status

Wataniya Telecom, Kuwait's Red Carpet Company, the leading mobile communications carrier in Kuwait and the region, has obtained the win in their service category. Wataniya received an award by the Superbrands Council in Kuwait. Winning the title of the Superbrands came after a long assessment of the company's services and performance, according to the Superbrands regulations and measurements, for the years 2008-2009.

"Acquiring the Superbrands status of Superbrands and selecting Wataniya Telecom the super brand, from a league of brands, in Kuwait is an unequaled accomplishment," Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Balool, Wataniya's PR manager, had expressed. "This accomplishment reflects the magnitude of our brand in the telecommunications sector of Kuwait, on one hand, and stature of Wataniya as a pioneer company in the region." Mr. Al-Balool adds, "The marketing efforts and public relations, especially, led to a long lasting mark in the populous mind, and to provide the highest levels of the most modern services and customers support with additional value."

Accordingly, Wataniya Telecom has been included in the Superbrands books for the 2009 edition due to the company's historical background and superior achievements in Kuwait.

Superbrands Council is of elected members by the Superbrands Organization, founded by Marcel Knobil in the UK in 1995. Superbrands is an independent arbiter of brands around the globe, and it recognize brands of various categories and encourages those brands to aspire for exceptionality in their work.
