Kuwait's Red Carpet Co. Wataniya Telecom launched today "Collect Call" to pre-paid customer's base in Kuwait. This new service is perfectly designed to keep customers connected even when their credits balance is zero. It allows Wataniya prepaid users to call other Wataniya subscribers, and charge it on the latter.
"It's a great relief and peace of mind for subscribers to know that they can initiate calls even when they are out of credits", said Hamza Taqi, Marketing Director of Wataniya Telecom.
Wataniya's subscribers can make a reverse-charge call virtually from any mobile phone thus it is not handset dependent. They simply need to go through the following procedure:
- Caller (prepaid A-party) dials *1 followed by the Called person's number (B-Party) i.e. *1663xxxx
- Caller hears a welcome IVR asking him to hold while the call is being connected.
- Called person receives the call, answers, and hears an IVR asking him if he will accept or reject the call.
- If the Called person accepts the call then the system connects both parties, and they can now start talking.
- In case the Called person doesn't accept to pay call charges, then the call will be dropped.
Collect Call is the perfect solution that caters to subscriber's urgent needs to communicate on either personal or professional levels; for example, parents can feel safe about knowing that in an emergency, their child can always reach them. Similarly, employees on sites would be able to updated bosses in offices, on work flow etc..,
"Improved customers satisfaction has always been the core of our selection of products and services. Collect call is yet a new value-added service that will add great value to customer's mobile experience", ended Taqi
