Nawras installs high speed enterprise connectivity at GUtech campus in Halban

Mobilk - Nawras has successfully installed a fibre optic connectivity solution at the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) to provide voice and high speed internet across the entire new campus in Halban. 

The new voice installation uses SIP Trunk (Session Initiation Protocol). This service is uniquely offered by Nawras in Oman and gives customers access to significantly more voice channels than currently available through legacy systems.  In addition, it provides capacity for growth to match future expansion. The use of a Nawras Internet Enterprise (NIE) gives an uninterrupted and secured internet connection to handle data requirements.

We installed a dedicated connection from the ring to the university which will ensure fast and uninterrupted internet access as well as accommodate unlimited additional lines.  This future proofs the campus, as a vital part of the university’s communications network.”
