Nawras introduces vibrant new website with ReadSpeaker tool for greater accessibility

Mobilk - Nawras is excited to announce the launch of its new website, offering a refreshing, interactive, customer friendly online portal in both Arabic and English. The new site introduces ReadSpeaker so visitors can choose to listen to information if they are unable to read it. The Nawras website is one of very few in the region to offer this level of accessibility and convenience for customers.

Using a larger display area, the scrolling home page showcases the latest great value offers from Nawras, pausing to allow the customer to click the link and be transported to the product page for more information. Another new feature of the redesigned site is the addition of the Social Media sidebar for customers to interact instantly with Nawras on the official Facebook and Twitter pages. Customers can also view videos on the exclusive Nawras YouTube channel and follow the company on LinkedIn, as well as having the ability to email the webpage to a friend.

Nawras makes it as easy to access the website as it is to browse.  Entering the Arabic domain name in the browser takes customers directly and conveniently to the Arabic language home page. 

The improved browsing functions of the website take a similar zonal approach as the new Nawras flagship store and simplify the customer experience at every click. The redesigned site reflects the vibrant Nawras approach and provides easy access to a diverse range of products and services, offering a complete one stop shop for information, latest news and promotions.

The Nawras website features a network coverage guide which shows the recently turbocharged 3G+ areas and the new 4G network coverage where faster and superfast mobile broadband internet is now being enjoyed. Customers can check the coverage in their area using the interactive map that will be updated as more sites are activated. The tool also guides visitors and customers to the location of their nearest Nawras store and self service machines.

The previous Nawras website won a number of awards including Best Corporate Website 2012 Oman – Investor Relations from KWD Webranking.  Previous recognition includes Website of the Year at the 2011 Oman Web Awards as well as Gold Award for both www.nawras.om and MMS microsite www.bawabaty.om. The company received a Silver award for its youth focused site www.shababiah.om.
