Mobilk - du will shortly begin inviting its customers to register their numbers, in-line with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA)’s new ‘My Number, My Identity’ campaign. This facility will be available in more than 250 locations in the UAE.
A simple, hassle-free process has been devised for all customers to easily register their number. Customers will be notified individually by SMS, only after which they will need to visit any of the conveniently-located outlets for registration.
“This regulatory step is highly commendable, and we fully support the TRA for its efforts to protect customer interest and enhance customer experience. We are working proactively with agencies to automate the process, further simplifying the registration process. We have taken every measure to make the registration process for SIM cards as simple as possible for our customers, so that they can enjoy a smooth, hassle-free registration no matter where they are in the UAE,” said Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer, du. “I would like to encourage all our customers to register in accordance to the schedule set for them, which will be communicated via SMS, to avoid any inconvenience of disconnection.”
