TRA Receives award at Imagine Cup Pan Arab 2015 closing ceremony

Mobilk - With the successful conclusion of Microsoft’s Imagine Cup Pan Arab 2015 on the 2^nd of June, Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of The Kingdom of Bahrain received an honorary award at the closing ceremony at the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa Hotel, in recognition of TRA’s support as a Gold Sponsor.

Receiving the award was Dr. Khalid bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director of Cyber Security at the TRA. In a statement, Dr. Khalid said that “TRA is honored to have been a part of this important event. In the last few days we saw amazing efforts in innovation being made by young competitors from all across the Arab world on the technological front.” Dr. Khalid continued in stating that “Everyone work hard in the spirit of competition and the winners deserve all the support and recognition they receive. We wish them the best of luck when they represent the Arab world with their feats and imagination in Seattle this July for the Imagine Cup Finals.”
