Zain continues its annual winter campaign by distributing aid packages to underprivileged families in Al Balqaa governorate

Zain, part of the Zain Group, the leading mobile operator in the Middle East and Africa, continued its annual winter campaign by distributing aid packages to underprivileged families in Al Balqaa governorate. 

The visit to Al Balqaa governorate included the distribution of parcels, comprising basic food supplies, heaters and blankets, were distributed to families who gathered at Al Balqaa governorate building, in the presence of its governor Abdel Jalil Sleimat. Moreover, Zain distributed its winter parcels in Al Fuheis city on the occasion of the festive season at the governorate’s building in the presence of its governor Eng Jiries Sweis.

Participating in disseminating the parcels, Zain’s CEO Dr. AbdulMalek Al Jaber said: “The Company’s focuses on supporting the local community through its corporate social responsibility policy”. He added that this year’s campaign will cover all Jordanian in an aim to reach the largest numbers of families possible.

Zain’s winter campaign is part of a number of other initiatives launched by the company to support the local community. During the holy month of Ramadan, Zain launches its Rahman banquets in all Jordanian governorates. Zain also launched a number of charitable initiatives including its relief fund which it had launched to assist both underprivileged families and individuals that are not covered by the Ministry’s National Aid Fund.
