Batelco Provides Technology and Customer Support

Batelco, Bahrain’s leading telecommunications Company, has announced that preparations are in the final stages to provide technology support, and a customer service and retail outlet at the upcoming Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS), taking place at the Sakhir Airbase from January 21st to 23rd, 2010.

Batelco is providing technology support for the first-ever Bahrain International Airshow, including setting up a communication network that provides top quality 3G and 2G coverage, high-bandwidth and internal Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as an IP Network with telephony capabilities. Batelco has installed 140 km of cable at the Sakhir airbase site to facilitate such world-class connectivity for guests and visitors to the show and to ensure that the international media representatives covering the event can be in touch with their publishing houses around the world, 24/7

Furthermore, Batelco has set-up a retail and customer service booth in the Heritage Village at the Airshow, where customers will be able to benefit from the varied selection of products and services offered by Batelco.
