The Yemeni bicycle federation and MTN Yemen inaugurated the bicycle race in Ebb

Within its strategy aimed at supporting various sports activities, MTN Yemen and the Yemeni bicycle federation inaugurated the bicycle race in Ebb, on Monday august 11, 2008.
More than 200 participants from different age groups and clubs toured the different areas and regions inside the governorate of Ebb. The race was attended by official figures and dignitaries, on top of which was the deputy of Ibb, general managers and members of the local council, and also enjoyed a wide media coverage represented by the official Yemeni TV (Channel One) and Radio Ibb as well as a large number of local and official newspapers that featured the event in their news section.

The winners of the race were honored amidst a crowd that praised the level of organization and professionalism of the organizers and sponsors, showing admiration towards the traffic controllers who played a prominent role in the success of the race.

Worth mentioning is that MTN Group is an official sponsor of the 2010 FIFA World Cup to be held in South Africa.
