Toshiba launches Excite AT7 Tablet at GITEX Shopper 2013

Mobilk - Toshiba Gulf FZE launches during GITEX Shopper the Excite AT7, the latest addition to Toshiba’s Excite series and an entry-level tablet packed with essential features for an ideal multimedia lifestyle. Designed to be a handy companion for consumers, the 7-inch Excite AT7 is equipped with a Rockchip RK3188 1.6GHz Quad Core processor for a reliably fast performance, and runs on the latest Android™ 4.2.2 which makes it easy for users to access the latest apps and run them simultaneously.

According to Santosh Varghese, General Manager of Digital Products and Services at Toshiba Gulf FZE, “The Excite AT7 aims to provide the essential speed and performance necessary for everyday entertainment and online communication with its 1GB DDR3 RAM, impressive internal resolution of 1024x600 with a 16:9 ratio, and 3MP Fixed Focus rear camera, among other features.”

Built to entertain, this tablet has a built-in Accelerometer and comes with up to 16GB of internal storage, allowing users to store a huge number of songs, images and video clips, along with some movies. Delivering up to 8h 15m with video playback (backlight:60nits), it has a powerful 1-cell battery that can last long on just a single charge.

Easy Connectivity

Its set of essential ports includes a micro-SD card slot and a micro-USB 2.0 port for convenient file transfer and quick backups. Users can stay connected with its 802.11n wireless and Bluetooth® 4.0 technology. The Excite AT7 has built-in high-definition dual webcam, microphone and stereo speakers for clear online communication.

Smart Design

Providing convenience, the Excite AT7 features a five-point multi-touch screen for a quick and seamless navigation. The 7-inch tablet weighs merely 345g and is only 10.9mm thin for a comfortable grasp. The Smart Silver chassis with Dot Pattern makes for a stylish look and a no-slip grip.
