Mobilk - In line with its aim to support human growth, Ooredoo honored 36 graduates of its innovative programme to enhance development and business skills for future leaders. Called ‘Taghyeer’ (or ‘change’ in English), the five week course saw participants trained in corporate etiquette, negotiation skills and customer focus, which provides key skills to Ooredoo’s talented Omani workforce.
As part of the company’s career development drive, the trainees, from a number of departments including Business Sales, Customer Care, and Business Service, received training in a variety of disciplines encompassing innovative communication techniques, to further refine their sales and technical competencies. The programme also forms part of the continual enhancement to Ooredoo’s already award-winning customer experience.
“At Ooredoo, our people are our most important stakeholder. We value their development and support their growth and always look to provide them with opportunities to improve their lives as well as their careers. This programme aims to empower our family members who want to embrace new challenges and reach new heights with us in the company and I am confident that these new graduates will have a bright future with Ooredoo,” said Kumail Al Moosawi, Chief People Officer at Ooredoo. Taghyeer is one of several human development initiatives launched by Ooredoo over the years.
