Nawras launches special numbers in 942 postpaid range

Nawras, Oman’s customer friendly communications provider, is announcing the launch of a series of special numbers in a distinctive, postpaid 942 number range. When picking up this special number welcome pack for only 2 Omani Rials from any Nawras Store, customers will find themselves also benefitting from the current great value offer of free calling minutes as well as a host of other Nawras Ajel advantages.

Until 12 February 2012, every new postpaid customer will receive 100 free minutes to call any other Nawras customer over the following two-month period.  The free minutes given when the new SIM-card is activated are allocated as 50 minutes of free calls for the first month and 50 in the second.

Nashat Ahmed Al Riyami, Nawras Marketing Manager, said, “This is a great chance for customers to choose a memorable Nawras number beginning with 942 and to find out why in a recent customer satisfaction survey, 98% of respondents expressed that they were satisfied or delighted with Nawras services. Customers should get to their nearest Nawras Store as early as possible though as this special number range is sure to be popular and will only be available until February 12 or until stocks run out.“

Along with a special number like 942000XX Nawras Ajel customers can call other Nawras customers at any time for only 19 Baiza per minute.  Other benefits include priority customer service, a free monthly itemised email bill, free SMS bills on request and the ability to easily transfer credit to any Nawras Mousbak number.

Another exciting, new feature for Nawras postpaid customers is the free ‘Help me’ service which uses *141# to request a call from any other customer. The menu displays a choice of Arabic or English language.  After this, selecting ‘Help me’ and then ‘Call me’ followed by the mobile number of the person to whom the request is sent, will transmit a free call request. For ease of mind, a message delivery confirmation will be received.

When travelling to any GCC country, Nawras customers enjoy extremely attractive roaming prices for local calls, international calls to Oman, SMS and data through SmartRoamer.  Sending a free SMS with the keyword Smart to 1500 will give price and operator information.

In addition, Nawras customers benefit by earning Elite Program points every time they pay a bill or recharge as well as when a call of five minutes or more is made or received.  Free registration is via MyNawras at www.nawras.om or by simply dialling *141*21# from a handset. Points can be redeemed for free calling minutes or free SMS by dialling *141*22#.

Nawras customers enjoy a free information service.  Send a free SMS to 1500 with the keyword Nawras provides information about the new number range, offers and promotions, Oman’s only telecom loyalty programme and all other aspects of this pleasingly different customer experience.

A Qtel Group company, Nawras is constantly unveiling new ways to delight customers by making it easier to buy, use, get help and pay for great services.
