Mobilk - Orange Jordan, the sole integrated telecom operator in the Kingdom, announced the launch of its electronic outlet Orange e-shop, a platform positioned to serve both mobile and fixed line customers.
This solution is the first of its kind in Jordan to serve customers both conveniently and using advanced means of communication. It comes as a user-friendly web-based platform designed to offer subscribers full service listings and product descriptions. Its users can now subscribe to any service they wish or buy any product they need by following simple instructions anywhere anytime, while its easy to use "shopping cart" feature also allows for instant and secure online purchases.
This feature is designed to benefit all sectors of the community, as it offers users and members an opportunity to benefit from exclusive offers and discounts.
Commenting on the new launch, Orange Jordans CEO Jean-Francois Thomas said, "As always we strive to be the reference source for the local and regional ICT sector. We achieve this goal by offering all what is new and innovative to the market. By doing so, we aim at making our subscribers lives easier and more convenient, thus enabling them to enjoy the added value to be gained from our innovations. The launch of this service falls in line with our long term strategy to always be on par with international standards of advancements within the field, and this is what inspires us to reinvent the communication experience for people across the Kingdom."
He further added that the first 100 customers to use the e-shop will win instant prizes while in following stages the service will also enable online payment and home delivery for all as well.
The e-shop, which is accessible via both www.eshop.orange.jo or www.orange.jo, enables users to gather whatever information they need via an easy to navigate and use design that is also secure.
It is worth noting that Orange Jordan had enjoyed its leading position in the market on account of several firsts, as it was the first to launch the 3G+ service in Jordan back in 2010, and it was also the first to raise internet speed to 24 MB/second. Furthermore, Orange Jordan was the first to spread internet accessibility across all governorates, as well as being the first to launch applications like the e-shop.
