TRA Organizes Omrah Trip for the Employees

As part of its charitable initiatives

Mobilk - The Telecommunications Regulatory Authorities (TRA) has announced today the organization of Omrah trip for a group of TRA employees, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and dedication to work. This step is part of a series of charitable initiatives and efforts prepared by TRA for the UAE Year of Giving 2017.

Commenting on this step, H.E. Mohammad Al Kitbi, Acting Deputy Director General for Support Service Sector in TRA, said: ‘In line with the announcement of the Year of Giving in the country, the TRA has launched several initiatives to promote and spread the culture of charitable work in the community. We are confident that these initiatives will have a great effect on enhancing the relations of respect and appreciation between TRA and the customers on one hand, and within the internal environment of TRA on the other.’

H.E. Al Kitbi added: ‘This step is part of our social responsibility, as well as achieving the TRA’s strategy of employees’ happiness, increasing their career satisfaction, and appreciating their outstanding performance, efforts and dedication in serving TRA’s objectives and customers.’

The list of TRA’s initiatives included, in addition to the Omrah trip, the distribution of vouchers to the workers category in TRA to enable them to buy the Eid needs and celebrate properly with their families and children. Additionally, a number of TRA employees volunteered to distribute meals in a Ramadan tent in cooperation with ‘Beit Al Khair’ Association. These activities have been concluded with a cultural lecture in TRA’s office, titled ‘Mastering the work’, delivered by Sheikh Abdulla Musa from the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities. TRA also organized a number of other activities, such as ‘Farhat Eid’, and ‘Abayati’ initiative, organized by Eve Committee in TRA to collect cloaks during Ramadan and then distributing them on the needy families, in cooperation with ‘Beit Al Khair’ Association.
