Wataniya Palestine Completes Preparations to Participate in the Palestinian Information Technology and Telecommunications Exhibition Expotech 2008

Wataniya Mobile, the new mobile telecommunications network in Palestine, has completed its preparations to participate in the Palestinian Information Technology and Telecommunications Exhibition (Expotech 2008), which opens today in the city of Al Bireh.

Wataniya Mobile will be participating in the exhibition with a large booth that has been set up to accommodate the large number of vistors that the company expects. A press conference will also be held during the Expotech to update the public on progress with the construction of the company’s network.

At the exhibition, Wataniya Mobile’s team will aim to interact with as many Expotech visitors as possible and will also be conducting a survey to learn more about the telecommunications needs of future customers.  All participants in the survey will be entered into a draw for valuable prizes that include the latest mobile handset models and Wataniya Mobile SIM cards. The prizes will be provided to the winners when the company launches its commercial services.

Commenting on this occasion the Public Relations Manager for Wataniya Mobile, Mr. Mohammad Nassar, said: “We congratulate the organizers of Expotech for holding this important exhibition for the 5th year in a row. The exhibition provides us with a unique opportunity to meet a large number of people from various Palestinian cities. Based on our participation last year, we expect a large percentage of Expotech guests to visit our booth. We aim to provide Palestinian consumers with the highest levels of telecommunications services and we know that Expotech guests will be keen to learn more about our company and our team.”

The Expotech 2008 exhibition is organized by the Palestinian Information Technology Association (PITA) and the Palestine Trade Center (Paltrade). The exhibition will be open to the public from the 4th to the 6th of November 2008.
