Batelco’s Entrepreneurs Programme Hailed a Big Success

Professional Business Knowledge Transferred to Ambitious Bahraini Youths

Mobilk - Batelco Entrepreneurs Programme was hailed a big success by participants and mentors involved in the unique professional five week programme.  Batelco’s Youth Marketing team, in partnership with the company’s strategic partner, Tamkeen and BDB, Bahrain’s leading development supporter, organised the programme that was designed to help young Bahraini entrepreneurs to start their own businesses.

Batelco Entrepreneur Programme was a 5-day course run over 5 continuous Saturdays. It featured talks by six Bahraini entrepreneurs and business professionals, interactive lectures and inspirational training sessions, covering everything from finance and accounting basics, to marketing and business planning. The course shared real world experience from prominent business people who have achieved successful careers, including Ali Al Marzooq, Nada Bubshait, Hassan Haider, Amina Al Abbasi, Mariam Janahi and Ahmed Al Anzoor.

Batelco General Manager Consumer Division Muna Al Hashemi  said that the programme was a golden opportunity for young Bahraini entrepreneurs, wishing to start their own businesses, as it included many secrets of success and provided invaluable professional insights presented by a number of business experts.    

On the final day of the course, candidates were presented with certificates.
