Westcon Group to Host "CONNECT 2012" During Gitex

Company to organize 3 day event alongside the ICT exhibition in October

Mobilk - Westcon Group Middle East, a value-added distributor of category-leading unified communications, network infrastructure, data center, security and Cisco centric solutions in the MENA region, with a global network of specialty resellers, today announced its annual ‘CONNECT 2012’ event to be held alongside Gitex, the Middle East’s premier ICT event. Westcon will be hosting a hospitality suite between 15th – 17th, October 2012 in the ‘Sublime lounge’ at the IBIS hotel, conveniently located at the  Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) where Gitex will be taking place. 

 

Speaking about CONNECT 2012, Steve Lockie, Managing Director, Westcon Group says, “Gitex is a platform where the entire Middle East ICT community as well as leading global vendors converge to discuss business. We decided that it was an opportune time for us to host an event in a relaxed lounge setting, away from the buzz of Gitex, but close enough to be convenient to meet and greet vendors and channel partners visiting the show.
