Mobilk - Committed to helping people across the country enjoy the internet, Ooredoo has introduced its Satellite Home Internet plan. Specially designed for those living in remote and rural areas, the plan is part of an initiative with Oman Broadband (OBB) and under the auspices of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) to provide previously underserved communities with access to broadband internet, particularly students who are learning online. Available until 1 February 2021, the value-packed plan cost just OMR 15 per month on a 12-month contract and include 250GB of data, speeds of up to 6Mbps, as well as a free modem and installation.

This is especially important given that many students are embarking on a new school year online.
