Wataniya Palestine Sponsors the TriFitness Taekwondo team

Wataniya Mobile the imminent new operator of mobile communications in the territory of Palestine announced yesterday its sponsorship of the TriFitness Taekwondo team, who is participating at an international competition of the Taekwondo Championships in Alexandria, Egypt.

The team arrived in the Egyptian city of Alexandria last Thursday night and the sponsorship enabled the team to start an onsite training camp in preparation for these international Championship finals on February 5, 2009.    The team has been training vigorously for the tournament and will be competing with over 800 players from more than 27 countries.

Allan Richardson, Chief Executive Officer of Wataniya Mobile, stated 'In the spirit of focusing our sponsorship activities to that enable the development of programs for the youth, we are very happy to support the Taekwondo TriFitness team in their training efforts and the ability to compete in such a significant championship.  The sport of Taekwondo builds discipline and interactive skills.  We know that the talented team has been training hard and will continue to do so until the finals next Thursday.  We wish them tremendous success!'
