Samsung has unveiled the Genio slide, the third handset to be part of the Genio range
Samsung has increased its Genio handset range with the addition of the Genio slide.
The Genio slide, which is aimed at the youth market, is available from today on Vodafone as a one month exclusive and follows the Genio Touch and Genio qwerty.
The handset features a slide out QWERTY keyboard as well as a 2.8-inch full touchscreen. The Genio slide is compatible with BBC iPlayer and also comes with a 3-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, 3G/HSDPA capabilities, GPS, 3.5mm earphone jack and 100MB of on-board memory that can be expanded by another 16GB through microSD.
Samsung Mobile UK and Ireland vice president Mark Mitchinson said: "The Samsung Genio slide is the latest in our range designed specifically for the youth market. We’ve enjoyed huge success with Genio touch and Genio qwerty and, as a hybrid of the two devices; we know it will be a hit with the target audience."
