The Nokia 6300 has been discontinued by Orange after dealers were told by suppliers last week that there would be no further stocks of the model.
Dealers have always praised the 6300 for being one of their biggest sellers because of its high level of reliability and features that customers look for, such as a reasonable camera, media player, Bluetooth and expandable memory.
Another big selling point was that font size for messaging and contacts on the phone could be increased to make it easily readable for customers with failing eyesight.
