Zain signs an agreement with Lothan Youth Achievement Center Loyak

Zain, part of the Zain Group, the leading mobile operator in the Middle East and Africa, signed an agreement with Lothan Youth Achievement Center "Loyak".

As per the agreement, Zain will commit to offer training for a group of youth from Loyak every year. The training will involve the company’s various departments while aiming to 
enhance the employees’ skills and prepare them for the labor market.

Signing the agreement on Zain’s behalf was its General Manager Dr. Ahmed Al Shatti and both General Manager Rula Jardaneh and Executive Board member Nisreen Al Husari from Loyak.

Zain’s General Manager Dr. Ahmed Al Shatti said: "Zain constantly seeks to be a major contributor in initiatives which support the Jordanian youth and equips them with the necessary skills to join the job market". Al Shatti added that as the leading company in Jordan’s telecommunications sector, Zain is interested in investing in the skills of Jordanian youth.

Al Shatti further stressed on the importance of this cooperation to help bridge the existing gap between the knowledge acquired through education and the skills required by the job market. He added that all Zain trainees will enjoy a unique experience and gain new managerial, technical and marketing skills.

On her behalf, Jardaneh expressed gratitude towards the cooperation between Loyak and Zain, adding that the company’s goals in supporting the youth is aligned with Loyak’s duties and aim to provide the youth with unique opportunities that will help develop their personalities as well as their skills.

It is worth mentioning that as part of its contribution towards the training and development of the Jordanian youth Zain is also one of the contributors towards INJAZ’s Business Leaders campaign. The program aims to provide economic opportunities to the Jordanian youth. The company also sponsored several career days in a number of Jordanian universities during which it helped inform university graduates about the opportunities in the Jordanian labor market.
