For the second consecutive year, Orange Mobile technical department has received the International Organization for Standardization certificate ISO 9001: 2008, proving the continuous commitment of Orange/JTG, the sole integrated telecom operator in the Kingdom, towards providing distinguished services to its customers according to global standards.
This emphasizes on Orange’s non-stop development and modernization process as well as its keen in combining advanced services with unique procedures through constant reviewing in order to fulfill all their customers’ needs and requirements.
Receiving this certification is a true evident on the concern of this unit’s employees and management in applying the global standards of customer service and quality concepts. which coincides with the Group's strategic goals.
This unit is in charge of providing all kind of technical support for the mobile network such as; towers, and operators, which leads to improving the quality of calls and voice, transmitting data through GPRS and improving the added value services as well as facilitating the usage of high speed internet (Edge) through mobile devices.
Orange Jordan CEO, Mrs. Nayla Khawam, expressed her pride in obtaining the ISO certificate for the second time, and highlighted the fact that the network management system was internally built by Orange employees in cooperation with quality assurance department and without the assistance of any foreign expertise. This distinguished the system and made it equitable to similar advanced European systems which were built on strong bases.
"Our main concern is to always elevate the level of our services in order to fulfill customers' needs, and this ISO certificate came as a proof that we are heading in the right direction in our commitment towards our customers", Ms. Khawwam said.
The technical and quality assurance department executed a clear strategy to make sure that all steps and procedures for ISO specifications (ISO 9001: 2008) are met, aiming to reach the TQM level which resulted to a proper application of the adopted procedures.
It is worth mentioning that several JTG sectors received ISO quality certification since year 2004, which ensures the Group's belief since early stages in applying development programs in management and in services offered to customers.
ISO certificate was issued by SGS Company, a leading company in issuing and registering quality systems on an international level.
