Batelco Holds Appreciation Ceremony for Participants of ‘One Heart’ Event

Fun at City Centre Event in Support of Bahrain National Team

Mobilk - Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading telecommunications company, held an appreciation ceremony for the celebrities  who volunteered their time at Batelco’s City Centre stand in support of Bahrain’s National Football team. The recent two-day event took place in collaboration with Bahrain One Heart. 

The event provided fun and games for all the family. Included in the line up was the opportunity to have a photo taken with members of the National Team with Face Painting, giveaways, games and cash prizes also on the agenda as well as two musical shows daily at 3.30pm and 7.30pm. 

Batelco Bahrain CEO Rashid Abdulla presented certificates and gifts to the Bahraini actors who participated including Abdulla Swaid, Ahmed Mubarak, Hamad Bu Qais, Eman Al Blooshi, Abdulla Bahlool, Abdulla Al Shaer and Ahmed Haidar. Three child actors from one family were also in the line up – Shata, Mona and Yousif Al Abdulla. 

Four of the National Team players, who spent time at the Batelco One Heart event were also rewarded. They are Mahmood Abdulrahman, Hamad Rakea, Hamad Al Rouwaie and Mohamed Hussain. Football commentator Khalid Almonshed also received a certificate and gift for playing a part in the event. The event director Ahmed Al Gergy, DJ Ahmed Bu Rayan and American singer Hotline were also among those who were presented with certificates and gifts. 

“The support of these local stars ensured the success of our event and we very much appreciate their participation,” said Mr. Abdulla.
