MTC touch gives customers the freedom to book their mobile number online

For the first time in Lebanon, mtc touch, the leading mobile telecommunication company and ZAIN affiliate, has given all customers the freedom to select and book the number of their postpaid “touch” line or prepaid “magic” line. They just have to access the company’s website, www.mtctouch.com.lb, go through the list of available numbers in the “Book Your Number” section, and select a number. Once chosen, the customer has three days to pass by the company to purchase the reserved line from the time of booking it online.
 
From his end, mtc touch Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Nadim Khater declared: “the company has a clear customer-oriented strategy: to always give customers the freedom of choice and provide them with the services and products they wish to have. The launching of “Book Your Number” service falls within this strategy, further to the great success of “e-auction” service on special numbers, exclusively offered by mtc touch. The latter confirmed electronic gateways to be a fast, transparent and highly efficient tool to use, in addition to being available to everyone.”
 
The launch of “Book your Number” service comes right after the 2 offers mtc touch gave to customers as of March 1st: the international access by default to touch holders and a complimentary hour of local talk-time with every purchase of a “touch” line during the month of March.

This being said, “touch” line represents today a real added value product in the Lebanese mobile telecom sector. Not only its purchase price has decreased by 33% reaching 50 USD, but the monthly subscription fees have dropped to 15 USD and the rate per minute to 11 cents. Mtc touch announced also the reduction of the cost of SMS by 55% for local messages, to 9 cents per message, and by 40% for international messages, to 18 cents per message.
