Credit Transfer exceeds $10 Million per month

mtc touch, the pioneer of mobile telecommunications in Lebanon and part of Zain Group, revealed that the total value of transferred credit to ‘magic’ prepaid lines via the Credit Transfer service has exceeded $100 million in less than two years since its introduction in December 2006. The monthly exchanged credit value has recently surpassed the $10 million mark, indicating a strong demand behind this service which is exclusively provided for mtc touch ‘magic’ customers.

The Chief Commercial Officer at mtc touch, Mr. Nadim Khater, said "that Credit Transfer is one of our most successful services due to its attractive aspect of give-and-take that boosted its popularity and penetration in the Lebanese market”.

Furthermore, transferring credit is also possible from ‘touch’ postpaid lines to ‘magic’ prepaid lines, allowing postpaid customers to transfer credit to their friends and relatives holding prepaid lines.
