H.E. Mariam Al-Rumi, Minister of Social Affairs Awards ETISALAT

H.E. Mariam Al-Rumi, Minister of Social Affairs, awarded Etisalat for its support of Dubai International Rehabilitation Forum - REHAB Dubai 2008, during the opening ceremony held at Dubai World Trade Center. Etisalat’s participation is an extension of the company’s ongoing campaign to support people with special needs.

Commenting on the recognition, Ahmed Bin Ali, Vice President Corporate Communications, Etisalat, said: " We value this recognition by Her Excellency Mariam Al-Rumi, Minister of Social Affairs, which highlights Etisalat’s role in supporting initiatives relating to people with special needs.

 Currently Etisalat offers ‘Freedom Package’ which is designed for qualified special need institutions freedom package include services as 3.5G Mobile Data Packages, GSM Fax and data ,Push to Talk, BlackBerry, Web Fax, SMS Broadcasting, 800 toll free services, 500 Data services, Business One, Web Hosting, and ISDN. Etisalat has continuously supported people with special needs and has demonstrated this by participating in events and activities such as Dubai Centre for Special Needs- Phone System, Holy Quran in Braille, People with special needs Centre, Wedding Ceremony for Special Needs People, Deaf Week, activation of special needs Federal Law No. 29 of 2006
