in partnership with Tawasul Telecom,Etisalat launches IP VPN services in GCC

Etisalat today announced a partnership agreement with Tawasul Telecom, a leading Kuwaiti based telecommunication and IT Services firm in order to provide business customers in the GCC countries access to IP VPN services through Tawasul Telecom’s pan GCC MPLS network for secure and reliable connectivity.

Through this agreement, customers in UAE will have access to IP-enabled, any-to-any, application-aware, managed VPN services that deliver security, flexibility and high performance levels for corporate intranet solutions .These services will be beneficial to customers looking for reliable and cost efficient communication between their branches within the GCC region.

The Tawasul Telecom VPN solutions will offer a comprehensive single window facility through Etisalat for telecommunication services in the region. All the services are based on high level of availability and security. Under this strategic agreement, Tawasul Telecom will leverage the state-of-art Etisalat infrastructure. Both companies will launch joint programmes in order to serve the growing market in the UAE and the Gulf region for such services.

The IP VPN service delivers feature-rich capability of a fully managed IP network while providing the reliability, quality and security of an MPLS-based private network environment.
