Mobilk - The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has participated in the 22nd International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI), held under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, during the period 5-11 December 2016, with the presence of delegations and heads of auditing entities and representatives from all the countries members of the United Nations (195 Countries) as well as representatives of international organizations and professional institutions.
The TRA has participated in the special exhibition of this event through special platforms that shed the light on many of the leading projects and initiatives such as the Smart Lab in the Center of Digital Innovation (CoDI), in addition to the subject of identifying weaknesses in electronic systems as well as evaluating and testing the hacking possibility. Moreover, presenting the experience of the comprehensive smart transformation in the UAE, which has been accomplished in record time.
Commenting on TRAs participation, H.E Eng. Majid Sultan Al Mesmar , Acting Director General of TRA, said: Hosting these conferences reflects the importance and the strategic position of UAE on the global business map. It confirms the international communitys confidence and trust in the UAEs central role in providing global platforms for the exchange of expertise in all areas.
